EMERGENCY MEDICAL TECHNICIAN
Perioperative Theatre Technology encompasses essential skills for managing operation theatres in hospitals. These skills include infection control, technical support, safety maintenance, instrument care, clinical assistance, and administrative duties.
MAIN OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE
- Understand the general ecological interrelationship and physiological process of living organism.
- Gain knowledge in regards to the proper functioning of various anesthetic equipment such as the work station, anesthesia monitors, syringe pumps
- Gain in-depth knowledge of the basic nursing skills of various surgical procedures including the surgical instruments used in the surgical procedures.
- Be able to assist the anesthesiologists efficiently during procedures in and outside the operation theatre
- Perform Basic skills of cardiopulmonary resuscitation, post-operative and intensive care unit management
- Prepare Operation rooms
- Provide first aid services/CPR
